Data Analytics and Visualization Specialist

Essential Job Functions:

Perform ETL and conduct data acquisition from disparate systems in different formats including ERP systems, web, databases, and Excel. Create methods for assuring data quality and accuracy. Develop and design interactive dashboards and effective visualizations. Create an automated reporting platform for various company KPIs. Recommend revisions to existing reports and assist in the development of new reporting. Perform data analysis and data manipulation on big data sets by using database and data warehouse technologies. Conduct predictive data analysis on historical data sets to identify patterns and trends. Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify opportunities for improving internal processes and products. Execute sensitivity analysis and linear optimization to support independent assessments of studies, analyses, reports, and cost estimates.

Position Requirements:

Master’s degree from an accredited university  in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related fields. Previous experience in extracting, manipulating, and integrating data from diverse sources using SQL and other ETL technologies. Demonstrate experience in building complex visualizations and automated dashboards using Tableau and Oracle Business Intelligence. Proven ability to conduct data analysis and modeling using MS Excel, R, SQL, and Python. Knowledge of distributed computing and big data tools such as Hive & Hadoop. Proficiency in utilizing statistical packages such as R & SPSS. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Some travel is required from time to time.
